Eat, Pray, Love...

I read the book Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert last year and I have to say that it might've changed my life a little. I read this book at a time where I was seeking guidance in multiple areas of life (and, I still am lol), and I felt like the author's journey was easily indentifiable. Despite some of the mumbo jumbo and spiritual jargon, I found the book quite enlightening. I am pleased to find out they are making a movie for it...starring Julia Roberts. Whoa.

luxeBurger

Photo courtesy of Lights Vegas Action.
Forbes Traveler.com recently posted a list of the 10 Most Expensive Hamburgers. The one shown is a mere $21.75, and comes topped with gorgonzola cheese (yum), onion jam (YUM), sauteed cremini mushrooms (YUMMM) and bacon - made with Kobe beef. Served up with a side of fries.

I consider myself a foodie, and young epicurean that loves to experience new tastes, but this lobster and Kobe beef isthe most expensive burger at $777. A big Flavor Flav woooooooow, on that one...

Fallin' for Soho...

Is it possible to have a longing
for something youve never seen before? You see it, and you know its perfect
but you have no physical connection to it whatsoever....
I am desperately needing to travel.
As of today, I already have three trips in the works. Two confirmed, and one processing. I am too young to not travel and do the things I want to do. I have at least six places across the globe that I plan on conquering...
I am going to Nueva York in a couple weeks, and I am really looking forward to it. In my search for a NY
telly, I come across the most
beautiful, peaceful, and serene
venue that I have ever encountered.
I am in love
with this place and all it has to offer. First of all, I have always wanted to visit SoHo and of course, go shopping. But never, ever, would I think of creating
a space of solace and piece/peace of mind
and I have found the place to do just that. I am amazed that I can do what I love to do, and do what I need to do
in the same space. This place that I speak is the SoHo Grand Hotel (if anyone has ever been there, do tell!).

This place is gorgeous.
I am absolutely infatuated with this place. And this is just a taste. Imagery is definitive.
I could enjoy some serious time here. Just to be
peaceful and write, study, kiss, love, and hug here.
I would
douse myself and bathe
with this place. The weekend packages are to die for...and yall know how I been craving for that unwinding weekend.
I had to share this. I had to. Looking at the pictures is really putting me in a tranquil
demeanor. I better get here....
